Get to Know Me Better

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I love keeping up with my clients and their families. The year after I retired from Charles Schwab, I felt a bit lost. But, getting back in the “game,” if you will, has kept my mind working.

What do you love most about being part of river wealth advisors?

I really enjoy working with my colleagues at River Wealth and I feel wanted as I am moving on in life. It’s so much fun to continue to be involved with all of my friends in the office.

What are your favorite hobbies?

Riding bikes, fishing and finding good wines.

what is your favorite book?

Catch-22 by Joseph Heller. In fact, I need to re-read it this year!

what was your first job?

Passing newspapers as a youngster in Harrisburg.

what are your bucket list vacation spots?

My wife and I would love to do a wine river cruise in France, Italy or some of the other European countries.

What's the best advice you've ever received?

I know this probably sounds a bit hokey but a year or so ago I read about the song Toby Keith wrote after a conversation he had with Clint Eastwood called “Don’t Let the Old Man in.” Keeping my mind and body in good shape are important to me!
