What do you enjoy most about your current job?
What I love most about my role at River Wealth is the people. When I get up in the morning, the thing that I most look forward to is deepening the relationship we have with our clients by delivering excellent advice and partnership. This is a big job and I truly enjoy working with my colleagues to make sure that we are always doing what is right for our clients.
What do you love most about being part of river wealth advisors?
What I love most about being part of River Wealth is how easy it is to be a fiduciary and truly put clients first. I have had the opportunity to work with some very large institutions in my career, and I can confidently say that River Wealth is the only firm I have ever been a part of that actively seeks out ways to reduce conflict and put our clients’ interests first.
What are your favorite hobbies?
My favorite hobby is raising our four young boys with my wife, Courtney. To absorb their endless energy, we play and coach in all things sports: baseball, skiing, golf, swimming, soccer, football, basketball, and of course, video games.
what is your favorite book?
“The Power of One” by Bryce Courtenay.
what was your first job?
My father owned a small construction company in Scottsdale, Arizona and my first job was cleaning up job sites on the weekends during the summer. There is something about manual labor in the Arizona sun that inspires the soul to love learning.
what are your bucket list vacation spots?
There are not enough terabytes available in the cloud to house my list! Once the boys are a little older, we are eager to start to find adventure as a family in the mountains of the western United States (especially with some skis on). My wife and I love to explore Europe and have the Dalmatian Coast in our sights.
What's the best advice you've ever received?
The best advice I have ever received (and continue to receive) has never actually been vocalized. It is the countless examples of humility and selflessness that my mother and father have shown my brothers, me, and the larger community. It is from this immeasurable love that I have learned there is nothing more important than service to the people and communities that make us who we are.
