Andrew O’Gorman, CFP®
Andrew is a Wealth Advisor with River Wealth Advisors. In this role, Andrew works with clients to develop personalized financial plans based on their long-term financial objectives and current economic situation. He then advises clients on an ongoing basis to bring their plan to life, including providing guidance around tax and investment opportunities that are aligned with their goals.
Andrew holds a Series 65 license and received the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ accreditation from the CFP Board. CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification is the standard of excellence in financial planning. CFP® professionals meet rigorous education, training and ethical standards, and are committed to serving their clients' best interests today to prepare them for a more secure tomorrow.
Andrew developed an interest in pursuing a career in the financial services industry when he interned with River Wealth Advisors during college. After college, he worked as a Financial Professional for AXA Advisors before rejoining River Wealth Advisors a few years later. He earned a Master of Science degree in Finance from Purdue Global University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, with a concentration in Accounting and Economics, from Mercyhurst University Walker School of Business.
Andrew volunteers with Harrisburg Hoopla, an annual fundraising event where teams compete in field-day style activities to raise money for local nonprofit organizations. Andrew was also a member of TFEC’s Class of 2020 Emerging Philanthropists Program (EPP). In his free time, Andrew enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling, and brewing beer and wine.
